One happy year

There is sunshine in my soul today because:

1) This is the week of my one year anniversary, and I love DAvid more today than I did 365 days ago.
2) David took me on a romantic getaway this weekend so we could celebrate
3) It is FINALLY time to try and get pregnant!!! (I have waited 365 days plus 24 years for this)
4) We both graduate in December!!! No more classes after that--just mommyhood and wife-hood!
5) I love David.

There is sunshine today because:
David and I watched General Conference! I love the prophet. Being married has been the best thing that ever happened to me. My husband is an angel and I love him!

Another Sunny Day

There is sunshine today because:
I finished all of my homework that is due this week and I still had time to have some fun. We just got a brand new game called CRANIUM. We have not played it yet but we are excited to play! I miss my family but there is sunshine because I get to see them in a couple months. I really love them. I have been blessed to have such a great family. And of course there is the most sunshine because I'm totally in love with my best friend and he likes me too. I guess it helps that he is my husband. I love David!

A new Job!

There is sunshine today because:
I went to my first day of observing in the high school and my coordinating teacher let me teach his class. He told me he wanted to help me become a registered sub so that I could teach his class. He said he would feel more comfortable leaving his class with me that with a substitute. That made me feel so great! So, I became a registered sub and Thursday I get to take over!
My sunshine is a little clouded today because my honey is so sick but at least I know there is sunshine behind the clouds. He makes the sunshine come back! I love him

Sweet Sunday!

There is sunshine today because:
I love David. He makes me happy. I never imagined that happiness could be this wonderful but, I guess that's what you get for marrying your very best friend. David is the most genuine, loving, gentle, and patient person I have ever met. He always knows what to say or just when to hold me. He is so sincere. He is fun-loving and he makes me laugh. That is my favorite part. Sometimes when I am ornery, he fights fire with kisses. He makes me happier than I ever could have imagined. He takes care of our little family and I am so madly in love with him. I'm so grateful that he is mine and I am his forever.
There is sunshine because I love my best friend...and he loves me back.

My Sweetheart's Birthday!

There is Sunshine today because:

I didn't have to work today! Also, tomorrow is my sweethearts birthday. I have so many fun plans, but they are all surprises! HOORAY! He will be 25. Everyday has been better and better since we got married. He is my best friend. He told me that for his birthday he wants everyone to call him Puvis! Isn't that cute! I'm really surprised that he does not like cable TV though because I love it. Oh well, I guess I can live without it since it's been canceled.

Woonter Woonter

There is sunshine today because:
I was tutoring Tristan, bless his heart! We were learning nonsense words to ensure that he had learned vowel combinations. I gave him easy words to start with. Then I wrote down the word woonter (this was to check if he remembered what sound oo made) So he started to segment the word and blend the sounds. W-oo-n-t-e-r. WOONTER! Then with a comical musical break by the little seven year old, he sang "I woonter woonter woonter woonter who, who wrote the book of love." Professional quiet dignity is hard to maintain when he looks at you and says ," yeah, my mom sings that all the time!"
And of course there is sunshine because I am married to my best friend!
